Sympathizing is not aid and comfort. Aid as in: supplied arms/munition Comfort as in: provide shelter/safe haven.

Oh come on, Zero, Jane Fondle went to North Korea and supported them physically.. that is not exactly "sympathizing. lol Wrong, Zero. Aid and Comfort is a term that goes far beyond the standard dictionary meaning. True, it does include giving supplies and shelter.. but it also takes in giving any type of support.. including moral support and the spread of propaganda.. such as what Lord Haha, Axis Sally and Tokyo Rose did.

Outlooker: "I've found that both the right and left suffer from brain damage from lack of oxygen, however I've found it less with conservatives than liberals." -------- from your posts, I'm guessing, you mean the radicals, the far left and far right? On every issue I support #43 on, his core supporters have always rebelled on him for.

What is number 43 or 41 for that matter? I see these numbers related to the Bushes quite often. George H.W. was born in 1924 and George H.W. Bush was born in 1946. Neither number has meaning to the man they were applied.

Bush41 refers to George HW Bush and Bush43 refers to George W... according to some Anti-Bushies. Don't ask me what the numbers mean, they make no sense. lol

No because the first president wasn't Washington.lol The First president was actually John Hanson. John Hanson was elected to the Provincial Legislature of Maryland, in 1777 he became a member of Congress, in 1781 he was elected President The new country was actually formed on March 1, 1781 with the adoption of The Articles of Confederation. This document was actually proposed on June 11, 1776, but not agreed upon by Congress until November 15, 1777. Maryland refused to sign this document until Virginia and New York ceded their western lands (Maryland was afraid that these states would gain too much power in the new government from such large amounts of land). Once the signing took place in 1781, a President was needed to run the country. John Hanson was chosen unanimously by Congress (which included George Washington). In fact, all the other potential candidates refused to run against him, as he was a major player in the Revolution and an extremely influential member of Congress. Six other presidents were elected after him - Elias Boudinot (1783), Thomas Mifflin (1784), Richard Henry Lee (1785), Nathan Gorman (1786), Arthur St. Clair (1787), and Cyrus Griffin (1788) - all prior to Washington taking office. Why don't we ever hear about the first seven Presidents of the United States? It's quite simple - The Articles of Confederation didn't work well. The individual states had too much power and nothing could be agreed upon. A new doctrine needed to be written - something we know as the Constitution. George Washington was definitely not the first President of the United States. He was the first President of the United States under the Constitution we follow today. And the first seven Presidents are forgotten in history. Source: http://www.marshallhall.org/hanson.html

You'll say just about anything to demonstrate how you're never wrong. You'll even argue ridiculous semantics like presidential order. 99% of Americans (maybe even more) recognize Washington as the first president. Those presidents before weren't chief executives. So when us common folk refer to 41 and 43, you can sit in your chair all high and mighty because you recongize 48 and 50. If you want to speak chinese while the rest of us speak English, go ahead. You could also argue that the Super Bowl has only been around since 1969 and not 1967 or vice versa. What matters is that a numbering system was implemented, that us common folk follow. If you want to swim upstream like a salmon go ahead.

Well now, if you mean I was critical about him fondling young girls in the Oval Office,a married man mind you and then lie about it, then I guess you would be correct. Other than that it would be policy only. I still say these Bush bashers are way over the line. And where do they get off making a movie about assasinating President Bush? A sitting President. If you think that is ok, then I don't have anything else to discuss with you. We will have to agree to disagree.

Many of the Bush Bashers are way over the line, Madge. You give an excellent example, but another was Moore's Farenheit 911. Michael Moron was shown to be lying right off and telling half-truths. The purpose was to cause dissention to impede the president from performing his duties. He should have been sent to Federal Prison for treason, but got away with it. All those things Zero named builds into the big picture of undermining a sitting president during a time of war. We can excuse people like Letterman or Leno some because their comments are professionals making jokes for a show. No one takes them seriously... or should. However most of these Bush Bashers are bashing not for humor for belittling and out of total disrespect. I remember how the dems whined about the treatment Clinton got, but suddenly it's ok to do the same and worse to Bush.

Now Kerry is insulting our military and they are trying to say it was a botched joke! How stupid do they think WE are? Kerry must think everyone is stupid except himself. If you saw the tape you know he was not making a joke about the President. He was insulting the inteligence of our service men and women. I am totally p u no what about it. And you do not hear any democrats coming out in defense of our military. Its shameful!!!!!

I've thought of this and I don't think Kerry or the Dems thinks people are stupid as much as I think they think we have the attention span of about 30 seconds. My favorite thing is when people say they support the troops, but they also say how the military is lousing up. How do you support the miltary by making them look like a bunch of mindless idiots? LOL I remember in the 80s how people tried that same ploy. They would talk crap about the military and then try to say, "But I have nothing against the military!". Most of us in the military took offense at that type of stuff.

If you were run over by a Chevrolet, would you be angry at GM or the Chevy's driver? BTY, ONLY service members are entitled to determine if Kerry insulted them. I work with a Marine every day and asked him how he felt about Kerry's "joke". He took it as a shot at the President.

Your point is moot, very moot, it has no bearing on the situation. In addition I talk to service men quite often and most did not take it as a slam against Bush, only the Anti-Bushies in the service do. Most took it as a slam against them, i.e. the service member. So what's your point besides being nonsensical?

Unable to defend myself about being nonsensical, fat lady's singing too loud!

No one, especially me, said that anyone hates the US Military because of a cowboy CIC. The hating or loathing of the US military is a different issue than that of Bush being the NCA. First off CIC is Combat Information Center, i.e. a command center, in military lingo. On occassion you might see CIC as Commander in Chief, but the more proper abbreviation is CinC. We used to joke that the President of the US was officially known as CINCUS (Sink Us) but that only went so far until the term National Command Authority began taking root. What fat lady? None is singing, at least singing loudly. There is not much to sing about. lol

Thanks for the correction on "CinC". Fat lady's singing "God bless America".

LOL Not a problem, South. :) The fact is some people do hate the Military, others really don't hate them but they are highly inconsiderate of them.
