Is global warming caused by man? More specifically...by man's CO2 emissions?

Has anyone given it a thought, that all of us living in this planet are doomed for extinction caused by a natural disaster and there is nothing anyone can do about it?

Through infinite lengths of time our planet has gone through cycles of disaster and recovery. Live and death.

The ice age, the sudden disappearance of dinosaurs and other species, the floods, the hurricanes, the meteors...

There is a continuous dance of the Earth crust, which at three inches per century may seem insignificant to us, but which with the passage of time it will make a much different world than the one we now know.

How much of that is our doing?

Though we are but a speck of dust in the infinite space of our universe,  we as habitants of this planet do share a responsibility to not hasten our own destruction.

If reliable studies have hinted of a link between chemicals and the destruction of our ozone layer, then why not do our part to help protect our environment?

No disagreement there. But let's not put CO2 in the same category as R12. CO2 has not, is not, and will never be, a pollutant.

there is a engineering and scientific concept called "superposition".

 

Nature provides components that cause warming. We can do very little about these.

 

Man provides components that cause warming. We can do something about these.

 

Small changes in climate temp have hsitorically cause stupendous changes in our planet.
