I would say it's pretty much anyone's clear thinking definition of
religion... Let's look at your dependency on your bible...started at
14? I never relied on such nonsense, even though it was pounded into
me from before I could speak... I've had tough talking religious
people mess their pants when taken out of their 'norm' and put into a
storm at sea, I never even came close to even wetting my underwear, no
matter how terrible the conditions were... Bear is right, it takes
weak people to gang up on others, religions are one of the best and
time tested methods of doing so.

Okay, obviously I don;t come here often but what dependency? I started studying the Bible and reading it through but dependency? Naw! By now from the other thread, maybe you have been enlightened a bit, maybe not. I read Karl Marx a few years later but that hardly makes me dependent on the Communist manifesto! For some of you it is all or nothing, black and white. I have trouble with both extremes because of that!
