From ABC news:

"BAGHDAD (Reuters) - U.S.-led soldiers control only about a third of Baghdad, the military said on Monday, almost four months into a security crackdown during which troops are dying at rates not seen for more than two years. "

For magojulia success is defined as "less security and more death".  Must be money to be made for taking such a position in support of the  Surge Failure.

From ABC News:

"As of Saturday, June 2, 2007, at least 3,479 members of the U.S. military have died since the beginning of the Iraq war in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count. The figure includes seven military civilians. At least 2,838 died as a result of hostile action, according to the military's numbers"

A huge failure which will clearly leave the executive and republican party in shame.

from ABC News:

"Carloads of attackers descended on a police chief's house northeast of Baghdad at dawn Friday, killing the official's wife, two brothers and 11 guards, and kidnapping three of his grown children, Diyala provincial police reported."

When will the neocons and their strategy be recognized by all hose truely wishing to fight terrorism?  They say Iraq is he heart of terrorism to distract from the real purpose of taking your money.

Every time you fill up you give the neocons $20.  Are you angry yet?

From ABC NEWS:  "BAGHDAD - A truck bomb struck a Shiite mosque Tuesday in central Baghdad, killing 75 people and wounding more than 200, even as about 10,000 U.S. soldiers northeast of the capital used heavily armored Stryker and Bradley fighting vehicles to battle their way into an al-Qaida sanctuary. "

Is it a failure yet? If not, how many must die before it's recognized as a complete failure of strategy?

From ABC News: "The longer we delay the planning for a redeployment, the less likely it is to be successful," said Republican leader Lugar.

Even the Republican leadership admits that the surge policy is a failure and that we must leave Iraq.

Fom ABC News: "Iraqi authorities were investigating a report of a grisly find on Thursday -- 20 decapitated bodies reportedly discovered in a region southeast of Baghdad, where U.S. troops have been targeting insurgent strongholds".

In spite of targeted effort the bodies of 20 decapitated souls prove beyond a doubt that the surge policy to secure Iraq is a complete and utter failure.  The policy, like the leader, President Bush, have failed the people of Iraq and America.  When will the leadership listen to it's constituents and set a time table for withdrawl? Will will the elected congress and senate demand in a unified voice that this policy now end?

The president, against the will of the congress, against the opinion of the people, has set policies which fail, again and again, and will be regarded historically as the worst president ever to hold the elected office.

These politicers are fulling you all.  When alcadie walks on my property it will be their last walk.  W hen they finish walking in the congress building and the congress wants protection, who would do it.  Not me. Thes politicers only  want to grease there on hands. The only thing these raskals want is to fool everybody  by changing the subject at hand.  The best thing that could happen to this congress would be alcade.  I am a vet and proud of it but I will never support this congress, in any respect. Give them all the GALLOWS:

But regardless of US election cycles and news fatigue, the timing here will reflect the conditions on the ground. With a premature withdrawal it may only be months before the unraveling begins, but even with our continued presence, it will be years before Iraq can truly stand. It will be years before the Iraqi military is “done.”  The Iraqi Army has made tremendous progress, but the task is immense.  The commitment should not require all of the resources assembled there now for all of that time, but there is no way around the fact that years are required.  If we want Iraq to succeed, we must stick it out.  We are succeeding today in Iraq.

This is from a guy who has been on the ground for a long time going into harms way more times than you can count and dealing with Iraqis on a day to day basis.

With the coming mandate of the electorate the unnecessary war in Iraq end will begin. After 6 years of  policy directed at securing the interests of international oil, the people will take back control of their goverment and drive from office those who care not for Americans,  just global corporate profits. Those who defended the current administration will have to open their minds, to a changed world.

The surge was a failure, we have not achieved victory, we have only be robbed of  treasure and blood, to what end?

It's clear now why President Bush continuely pushed for escalation of warand surge in Iraq.  Distraction, smoke, and mirrors, to focus the attention of the American people from his real intention, the looting of the treasury for private gain. It allowed him to stage the need for a final pay check, the bail out of banks and investment firms, the final parting gift to his supporters, costing close to 1.2 trilion dollars. All had to be done without oversight or control, to "save" the United States from financial ruin.  I retract my title statement, the surge was a success, for the President, for it allowed the president by signing statement to scam the American people of hundreds of billions of dollars. At least a crook would say "stick em' up!"
