Some people think that if you believe in Satan then that gives people
an excuse to say, "The Devil made me do it." Well guess
what............The Devil doesn't MAKE anybody do anything. He
certainly temps you to do it though. It is up to the individual the
Devil is tempting to make the ultimate decission whether or not they
follow through with the act of evil. If that person is strong in their
faith, and their strength in God is good, then the good Lord will help
us to turn down temptation. Is this so easy to do? No, of course not.
Because there's a spiritual warfare going on around us 24/7 (good vs.
evil), and it's like a tug of war on we humans. WHY DO YOU THINK
THERE'S BOTH GOOD AND BAD IN THE WORLD?! The good first started with
the Lord, and the bad first started with the Devil..........it's still
like that even centuries later. The Lord is fighting for the good, and
the Devil is fighting for the bad.>I've always hated people that blame external things for their own weaknesses, it's a sign of cowardice. Yes, there are influences that certainly might hinder your judgement, but at your core, you knew what you were doing. Don't pull that excuse out on me. Yes, faith and belief certainly help the fortitude of any mind, but it needn't always be in a deity. I'm confident I won't die of a common cold, but that is to the credit of modern medicine more than God. Regarding good and evil, well, everything is subjective (outside of math and facts). There is no true "good", but there is no true "evil", either. What is evil to you may not be evil to me. Nothing has intrinsic moral value. It's all in the way you look at it, where you look at it from, and which eyes you look at it with.
Don't allow the Devil to win. We must be soldiers for the Lord- the good.>I'm not going to tackle this because I don't really want to get into that type of discussion.
Remember, just because we can't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't
exist. From an average human perspective here on Earth we can't see
space, but we know it's there. An arguement to this may be that People
have seen and been to space. ONLY SOME HAVE. Just like SOME people
have seen God and his Angels. Likewise, SOME people have seen the Devil
and his demons. Don't let the Devil fool you into thinking he doesn't
exist. DON'T LET HIM WIN!>This is true, to an extent. I'm rather offended that you call doubt to the brave astronauts, cosmonauts, and dreadnaughts (that last one is a pun, and I know it isn't funny) simply because it contradicts your faith, though you are entitled to any opinion you have. However, your claim that only a few (possibly suspect) people have been to space can go both ways. Only a few people have seen this God and his various Angels, in what may have been hallucinations, brought on by substances, mental conditions, lack of sleep, et cetera. I'm not saying that all people who claim to have seen God are drug users, mentally ill, or really tired; but people have brought mountains of evidence in the form of data and specimens back from space and the objects floating through it, yet there is a drought of data and evidence regarding deities and demons.
I did not mean to step on any toes with my dissection, but I did not walk around anything I felt was important. You have free will, and can believe whatever you wish, be it the cosmos, an abrahamic god, or a flying spaghetti monster (which is an actual faith, look it up). I hope to receive a reply to this, be it in agreement or disputing. Thank you for your time, I hope you've thought during reading this.
