in an effort to prevent this thread from sprialing out of control, let's give a quick history lesson. The Spartans, Zulu's, Vikings, Huns, Samurai, Hessians, Apache, Assyrians, Jedi(sorry got carried away), are known for being fierce warriors. The modern Olympic games are based off many of the Spartan events. Sparta was a militarist state. The men were born to be warriors. This isn't White Supremacy, this is historical fact. I studied military tactics and still have a deep fascination in politics and military might of past civilizations. Only a weak mind would see this as some sort of statement.

Your right in one thing, the Spartans did lose to the Persians.

Well, since the last post must have been to much, I'll try again. If some of the Spartans were black, how can this be a issue of white supremacy? The Huns were not African, but Asians who were of a dark hue. If you go to the parts of the world were the hun nation spanned, you will find persons from white to black. There were in fact European Huns and the huns are described as a Eurasian tribe. As for the Germans, well as far as the Olympics, they rank 5th for overall medals in the modern olympics. Futhermore, they are a nationality, not really a race (unless you count master race crap). As for the strongest? You might want to ask some Europeans that one. And it's not numbers, it's what you do with them.

Since people are talking FACT's, this movie leaves out the FACT that those 300 Spartons were bolstered by a couple thousand other "clan's" inside Greece then. Greek culture was devided during this time but they all came together to fight the Persions. It a movie people. Let it go.
