The reason this will never go away is because justice was not served. Because of previous trials where black(s) may have been discriminated against, this case evolved into a case where white policeman were put on trial. In listening to interviews of the jury after the trial, the jury admitted that were it not for the police, they would have found Simpson guilty. Simpson should not be able to live his life peacefully....he commited murder and happened to get away with it. I would like to see how you would feel if this was your daughter!

I agree; One thing white america has to understand is too many people have been sent to prisons from law enforcement doctoring the cases. Blood on the sock on both sides the same diameter is impossible is just one of the police tried and failed tricks. So once he is freed by a jury, leave him along. What's more note worthy, it the fact Miss Diana Sawyer's coverage of this and feeding into the minds of Americans, we are all happy that OJ has been defeated...now at the same time when the Michael Richards story comes up. Her comments after were, 'Where could this have come from'...It came from a White Man that thinks in his day-to-day mind that Black people are still Niggers. So I guess we are back to thinking White is right!

Yes that is what it boils down to, because we wouldnt be talking about this after all these many years have pass it O.J. was white less keep it real. If he was whir=te and found not guilty no one would have a problem with him or the book. So dont try to fool yourself or anyone else for that matter.

Don't make it a race issue. If a white former football player were to kill his ex-wife, he would go to trial also. If he were found innocent with all of the evidence stacked against him like OJ had, people would be out raged all the same. I not the one who is fooling myself or any one else.

Just as I posted a reply to (Acluhrs), this is such a racist, hypocritical, despised country that I am sickened to death by it. Do white americans stand up for and speak out against, when children and victims of other races are neglected, abused, murdered, and mistreated. All we see on the news is white victims!!! They get national attention all of the time. There are soo many people of other races and ethnic backgrounds that are victimized and fit the criteria, but never make it to NATIONAL NEWS!! So, I am outraged to say the least. You might feel that I'm just another angry, African American female, and YES, you are right! I want to see coverage for everyone who is missing, murdered, abused, and neglected across the board. Not just the rich, the famous and white americans. Get real! Join the NAACP, and if you didn't know it, a white woman founded the organization. It is an organization for the advancement of people of ALL colors. A 13 year old child (a black female) was murdered in Iowa. A black man has been accused and charged with the murder, but, the police finally heard the communitites cry and arrested the white man who paid the black man to committ this hideous crime. WHY did the pervert want her killed, because he was molesting her. Now we thank GOD, he is facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder and two counts of murder. And my community is not going to rest until everyone that played a part in Donnisha's murder is brought to justice. BE they white, black, brown or yellow. Our community is wearing white ribbons in memory of Donnisha until justice is served!

A PERSON IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. That is the law. Like it or not. That is what seperates us from a government ruled by tyrants like Saddam. OJ was found Innocent. End of Story. Not matter what the subject is, there will always be those that disagree. The same thing can be said about Robert Blake. Found Innocent but the family is taking him to court for MONEY!!!! I don't understand how a criminal court can find a person Innocent and then you can be found guilty in civil? It is all about the money. As for as the victim's family. I am sorry for their loss, but it is time to move on. OJ was found Innocent. Let the man be. He has a right to live his life free from "Monday Morning Quarterbacks" second guessing the courts. And let's give our justice system the benefit here, it worked.

OJ contacted Fox and Ms Regan regarding publishing a book called "IF I Did It"...... The money was funneled via channels that would ensure the Goldmans/Browns couldn't touch it. The publicist, Judith Regan, called the OJ book "a confession", and sadly it was in the Top 20 Amazon list b/f it even hit the shelves. Meanwhile, Fox & Rupert Murdoch only decided to pull the plug on this "confession" after the Goldman's were repeatedly given TV time on it and after an onslaught of emails, calls and message boards RAILING against their publication of the book or airing of the interview. "IF I DID IT" Indeed.

Listen mrsladyjean! The Goldmans and the Browns will suffer far more than OJ will ever suffer. They will never be "given a rest". Obviously, you've never had a loved one who was murdered. If you can imagine the pain you'd suffer, you would not want the murderer to profit from his crimes any more than the Goldmans or the Browns. You know OJ committed the murders just as much as I do. The jury that aquitted OJ also knew he was guilty. They aquitted OJ to prove a racial point.

By OJ being acquitted by 1 court but found guilty in another it leaves everyone to pick which side they feel justice was served. His book & interview, however, was the worst of the worst. "If I Did It" indeed.....

If I was to ever be tried by a jury of my peers I sure wouldn't want them to convict/aquit me to prove a racial point. My stand don't commit the crime if you can't do the time. On the other hand society never lets the person live their life once they have paid their debt which is suppose to be time served. It took my husband's uncle ten years to prove himself. Now he has a MA and developed his own organization and a program to help young black men, WHY, because every door that he tried to enter was shut in his face! WHY? Because they held his past against him!! I live in a city in Iowa where African American men make up 4% of the population but 66% of them are incarcerated. Now how can that be? Could they be sending these black men up the creek to prove a racial point?

The topic is OJ. The OJ case is not a case, that should be used to illustrate racism in the US. It had nothing to do with the fact he is a black man. It has everything to do with the fact he got away with murder. He was charged with murder the same way a white man would have been charged, because of the evidence. As I have said before the prosecution did a bad job and he had great lawyers. His lawyers made it a racial issue and I think the jury was scared to find him guilty, because of racial tensions in LA at the time. It had only been about three years since the riots. If anything being black helped OJ get off the hook. I think their are other cases that could prove your point on racism much better than OJ. There are other people out their who really have been discriminated against because of their race, but not OJ, the fact that he was black was used in his favor,by his lawyers.

I didn't voice whether I believe he's guilty or innocent. And, that's my progative. You say he got away with murder other posts say he was aquitted so leave it alone. That's your and their opinions. I don't believe riots would have occurred if he had of been found guilty. Is it the jurors fault that he's walking around free. If so, shame on them.

This post is about OJ, if you noticed everybody is giving their opinion. So why would I leave it alone, If you feel that way why are you bothering to post here. OJ is what the topic is about. You don't live in Los Angeles obviously, or spend time there like I do, so you would not know what the mood of the city was like in 1995. Most people in Southern California do feel that one of the reasons the jury let him go was because they feared riots. Yes you did not say if you felt he was guilty or not and yes it's your prerogative, but you seem bothered over those of us who feel he got away with murder. Remember OJ put himself back in the spotlight, nobody who is posting here did.

What it comes down to is this, when ever OJ comes out and tries to make money using Nicole and Ron's murder, people are going to react in a negative way. OJ is a loser and should stay out of sight.

I used to live in Cali and yes the riots were terrible, but I don't think riots... because a guilty man was set free.....he was aquitted so in the eyes of the law he's a free man.... in the eyes of some californians he's guilty....I don't fret over what the jurors did.

The police where on alert with riot gear on as the verdict was being read. The city officials were obviously worried about the outcome of the verdict.

But the police in LA did, and most Americans still feel he is guilty and wish he would just go away. If he stays out of the media everybody will be happy. He's the one who calls attention to himself, not the General public. It's as simple as that.
