I'm sure you want to believe this all has to do with Obama.  But if you look at the percent increases each year, the largest was 12% in 2001 - probably due to 9/11.  Each year of the Bush admin, the % increase was 5% or 6% except for 1% in 2004.  In 2009, Obama's first year in office, the percent change was 1%.  In 2010, a very angry year all around, the percent did shoot up to 8%.  Last year, the increase was down to 2%.

Yeah, what does Brian Levin, JJ.D., Director, Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, California State University, know? He probably falsified his charts (on the site I posted) just to try to fool us.

Well, it's good to know that you know me so well..  

 

But, the facts remain that there are a lot of violent, angry folks out there.

You make an excellent point. They are angry, and they want selective intrusion.  The article spatzione linked is very good. And, of course, the findings of the SPLC speak for themselves.

I think someone this week made comment on here that Obama was great for the firearms industry. Slick, maybe?

Anyway..   yes, gun sales skyrocketed, as did ammo sales.

Apparently, militias also skyrocketed. Both articles linked on here contain some interesting, and frightening, points.

It's becoming more widespread.   :(
