Dreams of the dead are a normal part of the grieving process and show us how we are moving through the loss and recovery. When a dead person visits in a dream, it can be terrifying but may symbolizing facing some aspect of the sense of loss. On the other hand dreams of the dead can symbolize general feelings of loss, transition, or fears of loss or separation.
