If I get sued, do I have to give away my only car, a 1979 Volkswagen Van? My waterbed? My cat?

Stern only wants things that are valuable worth millions, he hates working, prefers to live off other people and this is just another way for him to live off someone else or however many he can sue. He doesn't know the meaning of 'honest work' only 'use someone else'. You will get to keep your car, waterbed and cat.

I was going to copy/paste the following material but it's too large. It's about defamation, libel, etc... So, if anyone wants to check it out it's at: http://www.abbottlaw.com/defamation.html ------ In the John Ramsey case, I understand Lin Woods winning. But, I do not see it in Howard Stern's case. Howard has done many things, including the tape talked about before on this thread, to point blame on himself. There has been too many things which make him look guilty, and he has NO reputation left by his own acts. So, what reputation is there to taint? As a lawyer, he violated state bar rules by sleeping around with his client. At the same time making himself the executor of her state, and the guardian of a child that he knew didn't belong to him. It's also apparent that he has some kind of drug problem, by the amount and types of drugs prescribed on his name. He was both at Daniel's and Anna's murder scenes... errr... I mean, accidental poisoning scenes. He had himself faxed a copy of Anna's will five days before her death. He made sure he had a boat before Anna died, in case the shaky will didn't pan out. I don't know... all he has done makes him look mighty guilty. So, it is understandable that many people have OPINIONS as to his guilt. In my humble opinion. :D

Well firstly i doubt he slept with her :) Dunno if he has a drug problem i think it was her who was rattling with the things. Tbh im not sure he did anything regarding Daniel. I kinda think it was someone else. And i hjave no idea about Howard cos so much has been said and so much is specualtion or from ppl with there own agendas or r just plain mental. I dunno about your laws but under our laws yea he could sue. O Quinnan keeps calling him a murderer and thats not been proven. The guy from Tmz thought stern had a case too

If he didn't sleep with her, then it is safe to say he cannot be the kids father. I think he is a murderer, twice over, I think he is a jerk too, can I be sued? Bring it on Howie!

Let him sue, he is going to need money when lawsuits against him start flying.

Attorneys have been disbarred for offenses not as grave as those Howards has committed. The having a personal relationship with his client, as of living with her and being supported by her (let's not mention the supposed relationship that created Dannielynn) is sort of a conflict of interests. And... I wonder why he keeps calling himself the executor of her estate when some newspapers were reporting that the will was never filed in court. I am starting to feel sorry for him, for all the trouble he has brought upon himself.

It appears Howard has been unfairly villified. Did anybody ever wonder if maybe he was grieving for Daniel too,and was prescribed meds to help him through it? Also, I have to hand it to you Dragonette, you would have made a fantastic attorney. You hit it right on by reminding us who Anna was staying with in the Bahamas before Howard arrived. Poor Daniel, he probably wanted to tell his mom how many times he tried to call her. When I read what you wrote, I felt as if someone had punched me in the stomach, it was so chilling. It's like the puzzle pieces fit exactly. By the way, I hope Howard sues big time.

*LOL* thanks i done law as part of my business studies and continued doing it...but got married to my first husband basically who didnt want me to leave the house so i stopped doing it. My second husband who im married to now gets so mad at me cos he says i have ahell of a brain but dont use it and would love me to do that kinda thing again. As for all this..i hope the media look into Shelly...theres a lot of evidence against him but for some reason they seem to want to keep him on side. What i cant work out is why Shelly hated Anna Nicole so much in the end to want to do all this

On the few times I was ever prescribed medication, it was only for 30 days at a time and you could not refill until your 30 days were up. One time I went to a refill a week early because I was there for something else and I thought it would save me the trip back, but the pharmacist refused to give it to me for another week! Guess you just need to know the right people! lol
