There are plenty more sites to prove it, but this is just one.  Obama was indeed pulled off the golf course.  If in fact, he knew what was transpiring, do you honestly believe he would have gone golfing that day and HAD to be pulled off the golf course for the photo op?

Leon Panetta was directing the operation with both his own CIA operatives, as well as direct contacts with military – both entities were reporting to Panetta only at this point, and not the President of the United States. There was not going to be another delay as had happened 24 hour earlier. The operation was at this time effectively unknown to President Barack Obama or Valerie Jarrett and it remained that way until AFTER it had already been initiated. President Obama was literally pulled from a golf outing and escorted back to the White House to be informed of the mission. Upon his arrival there was a briefing held which included Bill Daley, John Brennan, and a high ranking member of the military. When Obama emerged from the briefing, he was described as looking “very confused and uncertain.” The president was then placed in the situation room

Author Note: The writer of this blog personally has high suspicions IF our President even KNEW of this attack was taking place in the first place! Furthermore, this author believes that it may have been ordered WITHOUT his permission by members of his cabinet, military or other associates. When the President was finally convinced that the "mission" was a success, he took the full credit and declared it was "HIS" order to do so! That may indeed explain why so very, very much information coming forth is confusing so many!

Again, after the first time I heard it from a reliable source, not only the links prove it to be true, but the blogs written above show yet again, Panetta made the order, not Obama.

Did you happen to notice that anyone can write anything for this website and there is no fact checking or anything?

Let me clear (as Obama would say), I trust others more than I trust Obama and his so called transparency.

"... I heard it from a reliable source,..."

Now that is certainly professional journalism where you have two verifiable sources you can cite for others to see, isn't it?

If you tried that kind of hearsay in a court of law, image how quick the judge would throw it out!

Funny, ruth. When the marine colonel had OBL holed up in a cave in Toar Bora (Afghanistan) and asked for permission to go in and get him, it took the DOD of that era over 49 hours to get back to him and tell him that he didn't have enough 'boots' on the ground to make the capture.

I'll bet he had a lot more men in his unit than, say, a small SEAL team' what does that tell you about the need for quick response. If this right wing tale is true, then the President did what any good commander does, he empowered his senior ranks to act on his behalf if the conditions warrant.

Instead of trying to make the President a "bad leader" those criticizing need to better understand the job of leaders.
