My cat was the same way. Just got skinnier, ate less, vomited some. I thought she was just getting older and had a flu or something.  There was no bleeding, but she progressively got worse during a blizzard we had upstate NY around Valentines Day.  By the time we could leave the house she was gone. It was horrible and I wish I knew how to prove it was her food. The recall came much later. Who keeps old cans of cat food?
