According to the most recent numbers released, we still aren't in a recession.  We might get a better idea when numbers are released at the end of April but as it stands, we still are not in a recession.

George Bush has already ordered the economy to not be in a recession. Therefore, there cannot be a recession.

And looking at economic numbers shows that we are currently not in a recession.

Duh, that's because the economy has obeyed Bush's order to not be in a recession.

Again, an ignorant response to the post.  I guess you have no substance to your responses.  The economy STILL is not in recession.

Right, and the REASON for the lack of a recession is George Bush's directive that there is no recession.

I would say that the economy is certainly in danger of a recession, but the recession hawks on Wall Street must present a stronger case.

My wife is a does home staging in Northern Virginia. Even with a relatively healthy economy, she sees vacant after vacant where banks want her to make the home look better. In fact, she stopped talking to banks because so few wanted to make a small investment (say 1/2 of a percent) to make the home more attractive and get more in terms of purchase price.
