"The median-priced home was just shy of $220,000 in December 2007. Here's a look at houses priced near that around the country."  http://realestate.msn.com/slideshow.aspx?cp-documentid=6596490

As it happens, I just sold my one-bedroom apartment in the NYC neighborhood of Kew Gardens for $223,000. Even an "Archie Bunker" house (remember the closing credits on "All In The Family"?) goes for at least $600,000!

You know what they say....location,location....location! That's what makes the price of the home.

Fortunately, the home prices in our area continue to rise faster than the national average.
