With the increasing rate of gasoline and diesel prices, it occurs to me that U.S. drivers should demand customer loyalty from the oil companies in the form of a customer appreciation program. It would work like this: For every five fill-ups using an oil company credit card, the oil company gives its loyal customers one fill-up for free. That way, the oil companies don't come off as robber barons with their maga-profits in the billions each year and consumers feel better about doing business with the oil company? What does anyone else thing of this idea? If you like it, write the oil companies that you have a credit card with and suggest the customer loyalty program. After all, consumers don't have to buy a particular brand of gasoline. Give your business to the company that puts its customers first.
