You may be uncomfortable for a week or so after you quit smoking... but it's nothing compared to the nightmare you go through with lung cancer. I saw my sister die last year with it( only 45 yrs old). You can't breath. Basically you suffocate. The fear I saw in her eyes as she struggled to breathe. I know she tried to quit a few times but was afraid she'd get fat and she said she enjoyed it. Not worth it!!

Sorry to hear that, I have had tragedies in my life like that also!...Sad that some think that their bodies are invincible and have a "it will never happen to me"---"my dad smoked and he lived to 80" attitude, maybe if he didn't smoke he would have lived to 100 and got to enjoy more of his great grand kids...Funny that some find it so hard to quit...Sammy Davis JR. was on a talk show after he has diagnosed with advanced throat cancer and said when he found out he had cancer he quit smoking like this(snapping his fingers)...Sad it takes something like that to open ones eyes to the damage cigarettes can do...He died hiding under his covers in bed in a fetal position weighing 45lbs...~Raddy~
