I believe that Peter Jennings made enough of an impact for there to be some kind of dedicated space for some of his personal effects. Perhaps, if the family is willing, his typewriter could be donated to the Smithsonian. Or perhaps the Musueum of Broadcasting could establish a Peter Jennings corner or exhbit. If not a museum, perhaps some University like Harvard or Yale might establish something. Just some ideas. The family may wish to hold onto his things. I would respect that decision as well.
