Dear friends, Could everyone please just back up a moment before they post anything- It is true- we were all disapointed when Peter's name disappeared from the World News Tonight. It was however inevitable- and Charlie did a very nice job of explaining that Peter's name remained last week in tribute but it was removed this week as a bow to the reality that Peter is not coming back to the show. One of the stages of grief is anger-- and alot of what is on the board tonight is a manifestation of that. I also appeal to ABC not to shut down the board because a few people felt the need to vent their grief in this way. It may be time for all of us however to start looking toward constructively channeling our grief into perhaps volunteering for one of Peter's charities-- or determing in his honor and memory to be better at what it is we do for a living-- that would be a more fitting tribute to the man we all profess to admire so greatly.

Well said, Kathy, I agree with you. Your suggestion that each of us does something in Peter's memory and honor is excellent, and it's a tribute to him that you suggested it.

You are correct. The best way to honor Peter is to do something for people in need. It does not have to be Peter's charities look around where you live and I am sure you can find on organization you can volunteer your time, donate money or items. Trying to be better at what we do is also a good idea. And I would like to add that Peter was curious. We can all learn more about the area we live in, stop at that small shop you always drive by or learn about something new. I hope ABC can check a year from now and see what we have done to keep Peter's legacy alive.
