Just thought I would up date this stale thread. I read a wonderful article on CNN about young evangelicals leaving the church. I knew teens and young adults would come to their senses soon and am so glad it happened in my life time. They are not leaving and becoming bad humans as believers are going to debate, they are leaving because they are more intelligent today, full of more common sense and simply don't buy into the myths and control the church has forced on humans. I have hope that religion, not spirituality, soon will be gone.

Yes, it is happening and the Internet is empowering for the poorest of the poor to gain access to true knowledge, and shun those ancient superstitious influences that prey on the young and continue to spread ignorance such as through throwing virgins into volcanoes, or freezing young Chilean children on mountain tops... or the catolicos practice of hanging natives and burning their feet in order to convert them.. the religious nonsense list of brutality and death is very very long... Do we really want to go back to those Dark Ages?
