I just watched the piece about Central Falls, RI possibly cutting police and fire fighters pensions by almost 50%.  It's doesn't seem  right to have the burdon of a bad economy bore by a few.  The entire community should bear as much burden as the city workers.  The city made a contract of sorts with these workers and should be obliged to keep it.  How will a city attract good fire men and police men and teachers for that matter if they treat them in this manner.  I realize the economy is bad and cities are in trouble and drastic measures need to be taken but to put this burden on a few instead of the entire community is unjust.  If taxes need to be raised to cover these costs, then so be it.

Thank you for listening and I love the program.
