I'm not too savvy on Euro law, but I would think that he would have a case before the EU human rights commission.  Fining him for giving away free bread on Sunday, based on a clearly religious-inspired law, would itself be a violation of his religious rights.  Or so I would think.

Anyone know whatever became of that French law forbidding Muslim schoolgirls from wearing head scarves?
