As we all know, the main problem with the world market right now is a lack of confidence.  Banks no longer trust each other and shareholders no longer trust banks.  But how can trust be re-established?  The best way for this to happen is honesty.  In order for trust in the market to be re-established, the banks will need to be honest and let everyone know how much money they actually have.  This is not a difficult thing to do.  Yes, some banks will be exposing the fact that they are nearly bankrupt, but it's those banks that are like cancer on today's market and they must be surgically removed in order for the market to begin recovery.
