I'm a bit tired of hearing about the high price for gasoline and watching the fingers pointed at the oil companies.
Instead of graphing the price of gasoline only in dollars, why not show the price in Euros as well - expressed as a percentage increase from whatever base date you choose (like January 2005 when this latest presidential term began). I'm sure it will show that the bulk of the price increase is due to the falling value of the dollar
If the oil producing nations want to retain their purchasing power and the value of the dollar falls, then the price per dollar goes up.
The fingers should be pointed at the guy in the White House and his failed economic policies.
