Bob,

Thank you very much for your address as U of M commencement speaker in Ann Arbor this past Saturday.  And congratulations on your Honorary Doctor of Law degree!

Your address was spot on in so many ways:  Reminding the students -- and all of us -- not to forget the people who have served us in Iraq and Afghanistan, to be prepared for life's changes, and so much more.  We talked about you, your family, and your speech all weekend.

My son graduated Saturday, but my now-junior daughter and her friend were also there.  I don't believe they will soon forget your message, and hope none of the rest of us who were present forget either.

Thank you for being such a wonderful role model for all of us!  We have followed your career and your story for several years now.  Thank you for sharing your life with us and we hope you continue to be blessed as the years go by!
