How about some coverage on the Bush Administrations ok to slaughter buffalo in Yellowstone National Park and wolves in Wyoming and Utah? !000 of Yellowstone's bison have been slaughtered this winter based on the THEORY they can transmit brucellosis to domestic cows. There are no known transmittals, the cows can be vaccinated for brucellosis (and probably are) and there are only about 100 cows grazing in the area the buffalo are being rounded up and slaughtered. Why kill 700 wolves of a population of 1500? Because now that the presence of wolves has created a better balance in the ecosystem, wealthy elk hunters can't shoot elk as easily--they are more wary and don't just stand around to get shot anymore. Killing wolves is against the law--they are on the endangered species list, and this action is one more example of corrupt administration gone wild and flaunting the law.
