My son also has a brain injury -from a car accident. I read the portions of the Woodruff's book  at Shepherd center  and it it gave me hope.Many books i read , only made me cry as realized how life changing a brain injury can be.  My son pre-accident  was also very intelligent and creative. .
The Dr's comments to Bob Woodruff's wife --I applied to my son. Many times when I find discouragement knocking on my door -- I get a future picture of my son , think of Bob Woodruff and others I have met with brain injuries that have recovered and determine to continue to perserve and pray.
