Dear Omar,

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  Your story brought tears to my eyes.  We are so grateful for you and all of the other Iraqi citizens who have  risked their lives to help our country in Iraq.  My first thought goes to your family members still in Iraq.  I pray that they are safe and not in any danger there.   I also hope and pray that the other Iraqi citizens who have been helping the United States in Iraq are allowed to move to the U.S. as well.  It is upsetting to me to hear and read that so many Iraqi interpreters are being turned away.  

Welcome to the United States of America.  May your life here be happy, peaceful, and all that you have hoped it would be.
