Thank you for your service to our country and to our troops. And thank you SO much for your quick thinking and for the quick actions that saved Bob's life. I am so grateful that you have arrived safely. There is much that is good here, and it is my hope that you experience the best that this great country has to offer.
I encourage you to speak out for the interpreters who are left in Iraq or who have taken refuge elsewhere. You have a unique opportunity to be the voice for the voiceless.
I pray that your fiancee and your family are able to join you soon. Meanwhile, make yourself at home! We are glad you're here!
