I am a 19 year old male and felt very inspired and comfort from reading "In an Instant". I grew up in a very messed up family situation and at 16 my mother took very ill and we were told she wasn't gonna live. She was in and out of hospitals for the next 3 years. Thankfully she is better now.
I found parts of the book hard to read from it bringing up my own feelings I had in my own experience. Its great to actually see there is still real love in this world since almost everything is falling apart and familys just can never seem to make it anymore. Thank you for writing your story and journalism now feels like it is the area I wanna put my interest into. I would love to corresspond if that is at all possible.
