According to Websters, the definition of a hero is "A person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life."  Just as your mom or dad serving in the war is a hero, so too are you.   Although it isn't always easy, you have shown courage and bravery.   You and your parents have sacrificed a normal family life for the benefit of our country, and for that we are eternally grateful.  Thank you for being our Little Heroes in a big way.  Your nation is thankful and proud of you, just as we are thankful and proud of both your parents.
