After seeing World News tonight it really hit home seeing those young kids seeing their dad's on a video screen from Iraq and seeing how hard it must be for them. We sit back here in our nice houses without the threat of somebody kicking in our door and they are out all over the world fighting for our freedoms we sometimes take for granted. The story of the mother with the bunch of little kids seeing their dad on a video screen really got me. I couldn't help but wipe the tears away. I wish I could do something to help them. I am a 54 year old single man partially handicapped and I hate to see every day more Americans being killed over in all those countries fighting for me. The kids are growing up with their dads going back and forth 3-4 times deployed and there's nothing they can do except pray for them. I pray every night that the end will come soon, but I am not to reassured by the news. I am very fortunate not to have a son or daughter over there and I feel so bad for the families that have to only watch and hope they don't get that visit from the military. I feel very lucky to live here in this great country, but there is always a cost to pay. I think about our troops every day and send them and their families my loving thoughts and prayers for their safety. And to thank all those who are fighting for us.
