thank you for eating dinner with an emty chair across from you where your loved one should be. he' or she deployed. thank you for missing a kiss goodnight that i take for granted because your loved one is fighting for my freedom. thank you for giving me the gift of hugging my sons while yours are putting their lives in danger for mine. i am a mother of sons that i have the frredom and ability to call, see, and hug and each hug or kiss i give to them means a million times more to me when i know you can't reach yours. thank you for your sacrifices each and every day. we take the simple day-to day things for granted while your brave soldiers risk their lives for us on a daily basis. my heart  and gratutude to our troops and just as importantly, their families that miss them so very much.
