I am afraid to erase that recording from my DVR because I don't expect to see such an unfiltered look at the war again, anytime soon. Monday's Iraq segment brought tears to my wife's eyes. The killing of the cab driver was particular moving for me. However, I've no illusions about its affecting the war profiteers we've elected to lead this country. They've clearly politicized the war in the worst way possible: They want to escape responsibility for its being promulgated in the first place.

To me our attitude toward the war is the same sort of thinking that wife abusers use to justify beating their wives, namely, that a little more punishment will do the trick. The only chance of changing that is an unblinking, hard look at what we're doing. It's good to see ABCNews making an attempt to bring that unfiltered reporting to its audience. Let's hope
ABCNews can withstand the backlash and that we're not so sick we're beyond being disturbed.

I am all for the unfiltered reporting.  How about some reporting on the noble things are troops are doing there now?  How about showing some of the success stories in Iraq?  How about pressing the dem presidential candidates on what will happen to Iraq after we leave or what will the candidates do when we have abandoned Iraq to fight terrorism?

you cant do unfiltered reporting like that all the time though, think of the children. also what really makes me mad is that many if not most of these terrorists are iranians and most likly supported by the iranian governemnt. why arent we kicking their butts
