I have been watching you in ABC for many years, both on GMA and on World News Tonight. I have been watching you because I felt you gave the straightest answers, and the best information.

So, imagine my surprise when, on this evening's World News Tonight, you made a comment similar to "Everyone knows that immigration's a problem, so why did the Senate refuse to do anything about it by passing the immigration bill?"  I know you are smarter than that, sir, so I must ask why you believe that I and the rest of your audience are not that smart.

Given only the facts that were presented in that piece, it is obvious that the American people did not say, "Don't do anything"; what they said was, "Don't do this". You did a disservice to all Americans be implying - forcefully - otherwise.

Wow.. let's give Charlie a break here. You do know that he has a boss and many others ahead of him that he has to answer to.... I mean come on. Look at what GWB did to Dan Rather.  You can bet Dan wasn't a bad journalist.  Problem is many journalist today are walking on a thin line when it comes to being open and honest about politics and people in higher stature and power than them.  And you can bet especially when it involves our governement.  If any american person believes that our government is honest?  They have bumped their head.  There is so much that the American public does not even know.. or are aware of.  So to blame Charles Gibson for him reading what he is suppose to ...... He is only doing his job.   Do I agree that he could be a bit more daring and take a side for the American public who are not rich or powerful. sure.  Maybe that is why I enjoyed Dan Rather so much.  It is amazing how people shut down those who speak the truth and uncover corruption.  Most people are not honest and you can bet that money does buy alot in this world.  But one thing for sure it cannot buy you a honorable life!
