Your characterization of the suspects who were allegedly attempting to attack Fort Dix as "home-grown" terrorists was simply misleading and inaccurate. Three of the suspects are illegal immigrants, and none of the suspects are natives of this country. More importantly, these suspects were inspired by Osama Bin Laden, hardly a home-grown terrorist. This is not to say that we do not have home-grown terrorists, because we certainly do, in spades.  Just to make the distinction clear to you, Timothy McVeigh, Terry Nichols, and the Olympic Park bomber in Atlanta were home-grown terrorists, just to name a few.

Your characterization was careless, at best, or simply sensationalistic at worst. I have come to rely on ABC News for fair and accurate reporting, without sensationalism.  I could view sensationalism, ad infinitum, on Fox News or CNN, if I were interested in that sort of reporting. I am deeply disappointed in ABC News.

Really... ABC, fair and balanced?  Puhleeze.  Diane Sawyer... maybe/Charles Gibson... hardly.  The only way to get fair and balanced reporting these days is to watch a little CNN and a little Fox (which are polar opposites) and then know that the truth lies somewhere in the middle of the 2 extremes.  ;)

What??  How is CNN a polar opposite to Faux Noise?  CNN carries Glen Beck & Lou Dobbs.  Just where do you see a progressive on its line-up?

RAP, thou dost prevaricate.

After checking the ABCNews website, I found that they had buried the fact that ouir brave troops rescued 42 Iraqi's held captive by Al-Qaida, some of whom showed signs of turture, including a 14 year old boy who was hanging from the ceiling, bound and blindfolded.  Furthermore, our troops have greatly improved relations with the Shieks and, therefore the locals.  This story was found after I linked to "other news" on the Headline page.  Apparently, Lindsey Lohan's DUI was considered more important.  Instead of reporting the news that matters, ABC buries what goes against forwarding their liberal agrenda - definitely not fair and balanced.  That's why I watch FOX News, which tried and true, tells ALL the news-I've tested this.

I hate to disappoint you but ABC News, especially with Charles Gibson in the lineup, is an excellent source of news well designed to satisfy the most well-balanced demanding listener.  Only Bob Schieffer at CBS can match the quality delivery combined with the credibility of Charles Gibson.  Neither of these two great broadcasters leaves you with an "indoctrinated" hangover.

I couldn't agree more.  I can't stand Katie Couric.  She's too fakey and Brian Williams, I don't watch |NBC to give him a fair assessment..  You are right on about Charlie Gibson.
