Big Tobacco could care less about the smoker's health or dying an early death. All they care about is the money they make from all the people who are addicted to lighting up. What's more interesting is the number of people who have made posts to this message board during the month of November so far and we still can't get everyone to join together to put Big Tobacco out of business. Our elected officals could also care less about the people who smoke. Big Tobacco offers are elected officials big money to vote in their favor. The proposed legislative law to allow the FDA control over Big Tobacco was nothing more than a farce. On page 64 of the proposed ordinance, all the power is taken away from the FDA and put back into the hands of our elected officials to make the final decision as to how much nicotine can or can not be used in tobacco. Does that tell you something or not? I wish I had known back when I first lit up my first cigarette just how addictive those little 3 inch pieces of weed are. Talk about "Weapons of Mass Destruction". Cigarettes are the most dangerous of all weapons ever made for the use of killing people, especially the innocent bystander who has never smoked a day in their life. Yet, try to convince the smoker that they are not only hurting themselves, but all those around them and it's like talking to a wall or someone who is deaf.
