The obsessiveness shown by Texas High School Football is ridiculous and our head injured sons will pay the price, in the future, for this abuse of our young men.  Head concussions occur all the time in high school football and the coaches are responsible for this because they are shooting for the top spot to win, win, win; kids are pressured to 'shake it off' when it occurs.   CTE is a dangerous and sad reality and after these kids suffer head trauma many times, no one will care when they begin to show signs of it later in life.  How about spending some of the millions of dollars spent on high school sports entertainment on real classroom education?  This would not be a popular idea among most of the parents of these young adults because Texas High School Football is the largest priority in our high schools.  It is a sad situation, to say the least.
