I am so disheartened by the state of our Government.  It seems that our elected representatives are more interested in being a part of a whole i.e. their respective parties, rather than representing the best interests of the citizens that got them elected.  The news is too slanted to sensationalism these days, and I have no idea what the actual truth is.  I am just disgusted with all the politicians in Washington DC.  And disillusioned that they appear to be so out of touch.

Why is the news and federal government not concerned with the number of US jobs that are going overseas?  The unemployment numbers, in many cases, reflect jobs that are being taken away from US workers and given to workers in India, China, Brazil, Eastern Europe, etc.  Why is there no penalty for that?  Why is the government that we elected to protect us, ignoring us?  Yet they can waste a lot time with infighting.  When is one of them going to start seeing past Washington to the real crisis in this country?
