Appalled by the recent news that a book was being published and an interview on Fox network to promote this book absolutely sickened me. Not even wishing to identify this man by name (Mr. Narcisstic comes to mind), it was all about money. The publisher stated that she thought this was his confession. Quite frankly, her statement was insensitive, showing a blantant disregard for the two families that continue to mourn their losses. Fox network made a bold and ethical decision in pulling the interview. They made the RIGHT decision!!!

This is the only time Fox has made a right choice. It is a right wing corporation at the least. What would be justice is O.J. buried for his crimes that we all know he did. I hope he dies poor and nobody buys his book. Of course we all also know it will sell big. Florida law should be changed so people like him can't hide from law suits and have to pay. That is the way the Bush family is though, they all protect the rich.

I would not be so quick to praise Fox. I don't think Rupert Murdoch's decision not to air the show and cancel the book was a sudden attack of integrity, it was probably because very few (if any) of the Fox affiliates would air the show. I think Mr. Murdoch made it sound like he had a choice just to save face.

While I am grateful that Fox made the decision to pull this filth not only from the shelves, but from the airwaves - I have to question the timing. Fox had already paid Simpson, tho probably via routes that would allow the $$ to remain hidden from the Goldman/Browns. The interview was already set to be aired. IMO, the decision to scrap this trash was only made after 2 things occurred: 1. The Goldman family hit every media they could against this piece of filth, & 2. The American people gave Fox a clear statement via message boards and emails about just how they feel about anyone airing/publishing this smut. Without the furor raised by the Goldman's and America, I think this would have went on as planned.
