I told my SO if I hear Don Imus on his radio, I am tossing and stomping it.  If he want to risk the Bose, I will toss and stomp that one too.

What DI said is just reflective of the lack of respect toward women in the american society generally and gets passed down from parent to child and is reinforced by the media.
