I hear Dave Chappelle and many other commedians say worse things about white people all the time.  I hear the same black commedians say the same words Don Imus said.  No one should say such foul language, ever.   Too much is being made of it.  Why should he be punished and these others be rewarded?  His color?  I thought we weren't supposed to be judging people by their color.

I agree with you, no one should use such language.  Imus made direct comments about specific individuals, while comedians usually make general comments.   Imus is not a comedian.  He has sort of a news talk show.  You have to put the show in contex.  It is not about race.   It is slander.
