Sharpton said he hoped that any broadcast outlet that hired Imus would take steps to ensure that he wouldn’t return to a brand of humor that included race- and gender-based insults.

Sharpton  started this whole mess-maybe he should be censored.Wait a minute-he's African-American!He has to have his 1st Amendment rights! But where does that leave Mr. Imus?He has rights,too-however Neanderthal his views may be. For what he did to Imus, Al Sharpton is as American as Osama bin Laden!

Imus is coming back and still be himself - entertaining, ingratiating, sometimes sneeringly obnoxious, letting news persons and politicians tell what they can't say elsewhere, good music and news and sports.

MSNBC's "Morning Joe" is a poor substitute, and who cares what Joe Scarborough says?  He pontificates, cuts people off, has no solution to the racial divide and changes views whenever someone important disagrees with him. no music, no fun, no impersonators, no VIP's being allowed to talk freely, only wanting credit for himself.  What an egotist!
