What does that man mean by what he said, that liberalism caused Cho to shoot those people? I think the AVAILABILITY OF GUNS to mentally ill individuals is what led to this tragedy. Don't ever forget that he bought 2 (two) guns, LEGALLY, although he had been foung a danger to himself or others in 2005! Maybe liberalism is also guilty for the stupid things this guy Newt gHINGHRICH is saying?

I guess Newt doesn't have a right to disagree with you. If he does, then spell his name right. The law says that Cho shold not have been able to buy a gun. Since his adjudication of mentalillness was not proeprly reported, he "slipped through the cracks". Furthermore, in order to get his guns, Cho had to lie about his mental illness. One more time - guns are not "legally available" to mentally ill individuals

Yes, guns are not available to the mentally ill...they were available for Cho to buy them. He was considered very normal at the time. Slip through the cracks? Silly me, oooh, just a slip...but what if Cho is one of many???? Do you people have some stats about the number of people going UNDIAGNOSED for depression and various mental disorders? Any of these can wake up one day and go buy a gun. They're "normal." The checks and balances are sooo scr_d in this process:(

Yes, guns are not available to the mentally ill...they were available for Cho to buy them. He was considered very normal at the time. You'll have to pick a story - either he was "found a danger to himself or others in 2005" (as you state above), which would disqualify him from purchasing a firearm on 2007, or he was "considered very normal at the time" (as you also have claimed). Which is it?

Just as Geroge W. could see no enemy but Saddam, likewise Gingrich and his ilk can see no enemies save "Liberals" and "Democrats". In his mind--if he has a mind--all evil stems from these nefarious dual forces. Never forget that Gingrich is also two-faced. In 1998, he castigated Bill Clinton for asserting that the latter had not had "sexual relations with that woman." Yet of Gingrich himself, the following is noted in a bio on Wikipedia: During his marriage to Battley in 1977, Newt had an affair with a Washington, D.C. woman named Ann Manning. "We had oral sex," says Manning. "He prefers that modus operandi because then he can say, 'I never slept with her.'" Newt also threatened, "If you ever tell anybody about this, I'll say you're lying." Intellectual honesty does not appear to be one of Gingrich's strong traits. The little boy is a joke.

Just as George W. could see no enemy but Saddam, so also Newt can see no enemy by "Liberals" and "Democrats". Had Newt become president instead of Bush, we would probably have bombed the DNC into dust instead of Iraq.

I'm not sure what Newt meant, but the fact is plain. The liberals have set up the rules underwhich those that are dangerous are protected and the rest of us are not allowed to right to protect ourselves ... so in this sense the liberals are to blame. VT couldn't notify others of the killers problems and the victims wasn't allowed to have anything that could protect themselves. VT was a gun free zone for the victims ... but the killer had guns.
