Watched CNN coverage last night on a panel of mental health professionals discussing what to do about those who might be mentally ill in Virginia. They have actually been meeting & discussing what to do for about 6 months, well before 4/16. They?re working to have some kind of proposal for someone (I don?t know who) by the 2008 elections I think. I kinda got the impression that some of them might be mentally ill themselves. For the good of all Virginians, I sure hope not, Of course there is no perfect solution to any problem in this infinitely complex & dynamic universe we live in. No black, no white, only shades of grey. Pick your shade. So I hope these people don?t waste their time & the time of the other citizens of Virginia on trying to come up with something they think will be perfect. It won?t be. As to what impact their work might have on future Mr. Chos, seems to me it would be marginal at best. I wish they would write down for us what they?re actually trying to ACCOMPLISH. I think any future Mr. Chos can be adequately dealt with by having the individuals who are voting members of the Virginia Legislature rescind the ?Gun Free Zone? measure which would permit Concealed Handgun License holders to walk around the campus with their shirt tails hanging out. Get some 357 magnums, 41 cal. & 9mm?s moving around on Virginia?s campuses.

Good day. I first off want say my hearts and thoughts go out to all families who are having to deal mental illness on a daily baisis, from perspective. It is one health topic that is not readily understood and brings about as much controversy as any health issue.  The stigma that gose along with Mental Health has a lot of persons with the illness staying tight lipped and with no voice.  I have no idea what the: Mental Health Panel Hard at Work? reperesents and whom it repersents.  What I do know as a person who has been dealing with Mental Health illness for years that it is very possible to be a functionable citizen in the comunity and work force.  it is not easy being understood as a person in general, however add Mental illness to that equation and the lack of understanding to an uncuribal illness adds up to massive confussion from all levels and veiw points from family to friends to empoyers to Docters and many government officials. I have come to my wits end and refuse to be tight lipped anylonger in retorspect to Mental Illness and have vowed to exercise my rights Democraticly to help not only my self but others gain a better understanding to this illness that has all types of persons jumping to conclusions that every horribal situation that takes place is the cause of a person that suffers from mental illnes, so not true. There are many folk who have a mental illness but are capeable of living as close to healthy lives as a person who may have diabeties it is something that you have for life, and   be willing to put positive coping skills to use and exercise and take your medication. My reseach and educating folk on this just as serious illness as others I vow to not turn a blind eye but democraticly exercise my rights to help all persons gain a better understandin of this health issue. I realy would like to know who is and are the Mental Health Pannal that is questionably Hard at work.  Perhaps we can discuse this issue rationally and like Brook Sheilds who went to Washington DC to speak to a Governmental pannal about PPD, perhaps we can join together after doing our home work and go to the right channels to get not only educated but eduacte others about this serious manner, but also come up with some legal laws that everyone can come to an agreement on. The first step clearly is opeaning up and having a discusion pannal. Now should there be a discusion pannal that has grown warry and tired it is up to others, such as my self to pick up the ball and not let such an important issue fall by the wayside. I hope that hear I will find other persons points of veiws and that we can work together to educate and gain a better understanding to this serious high profile illness. Thank you for listening.
