All the disrespect going round about her! She may have done things no one agrees with. But she had a son and was grieving,and so many were downing her! As a mother of two kids I told myself I would write and tell her just how sorry I was. Not like I thought she would read it. But I felt so bad for this woman who sounded like a child. And I stepped in her shoes for a moment when she lost her son. She passed away and still people hate her! Shes gone forever. Her beautiful look alike baby will never remember having a mom. Please stop the disrespect? She had a life but she is gone forever. Please dont hurt her family anymore as her death did...

But you are forgetting that Anna made her life the way it was. She made the choices no one else. Howard is to blame in all of this too as is the doctor. All of this with the paternity could have been avoided right from the start but she CHOSE to run from Larry. Also, as far as having a grieving son, parents lose children every day. I know alot of parents who have lost their children and not one of them behaved the way she did. The fact also that there is help available and she chose not to get the proper help but rather Howard and a doctor gave her meds not prescribed to her. Yes, she would be here today if the people who claim they loved her had done the right thing. What needs to be done is people need to stop making excuses for her. The only ones I feel sorry for are the kids, one is gone and the other is being used like a game of tug a war and all because she MAY be worth a pot of money. Howard and Anna started all of this with this paternity nonsense and now Larry is fighting like hell just to take his daughter home. That is what is WRONG!

NONE of this would be going on if Anna had not fled from the U.S. And it has all to do with Howard-he refused the paternity after Anna died and then appealled it. Mommie Dearest would not be in this mess had they done the right from the beginning. Put the blame where it belongs....

Yes she would be in this mess cos shes in it of her own choosing. She could be the kinda granny most of us had or put the baby last and the money first which she has chosen to do. In actual fact once it went to the Bahamas the dna test was done v ery quickly. DO screwed up by trying to do it all in the US. HAD Howard said no its no mine...Vergie would have got the baby...and Larry would maybe NEVER have got it..so in all ...he maybe done the best thing. The baby could go home to the states but the GRANNY is being selfish...thats NOT Howards fault!

Larry would have had his daughter months ago, especially immediately after Anna died if the truth had been told right from the start. Howard is no different when it comes to putting the money before the baby, that is all he is interested in still today. You keep right on making excuses for Howard and blaming every one else, most of the world say he is to blame. I surely don't side with Vergie anymore, but I also put more of the blame on Anna and Howard. I have all along felt bad for Larry for what he has had to endure and wait for the day when they tell him 'take your little girl home.'

What you dont seem to understand ( and im not necessarily a Howard supporter) but if he had said at her death no im not the father then Vergie would have automatically been given the baby and would probably never have given her up. Maybe to most it seemed he was doing the wrong thing but im not so sure he was. He said to go there for the dna tests..they did...they got done and once it was established he was the father hes done everything he can to help Larry. Larry is himself full of praise for Howard saying that Howard has been great telling him the babies likes and dislikes ( which is funny when some on here say he has nothing to do with the baby).

No, I understand this perfectly well. Stern and Anna fled to the Bahama's before the baby was born and when she was born, Anna asked two different men to put their names on the B/C, one said no, the other (STERN) complied. He KNEW fully well there was NO WAY on this God's green earth he was the father but yet both he and Anna put Larry through hell. Larry asked for a paternity of the baby after she was born, Anna's lawyer told her not to do the test in January. And then when Anna died it took weeks before the test was done. It should have been done September 8th 2006, not March ? 2007. Stern also tried but failed to have the paternity halted. If the baby would have been given to Vergie all Larry would have had to do was file here in the U.S. for the DNA and custody would have been granted without a doubt. Grandparents have little rights in the U.S. over a living parent who is stable and capable of raising their child. Once that baby is on U.S. soil, no court orders stand from the Bahama's. And think about it when it comes to Stern helping - he is only trying his darnest to get on Larry's good side, he is still asking for control of that babies money. It is all about the money with both Stern and Arthur and both of them need to leave Larry alone already, he is her father and is the only one who controls anything to do with her now.

I don't care what she had on her mind, Larry had every right to be in his daughters life and she denied him that including the birth of his daughter which he will never get back. She took that away from him.

I have a lot of empathy for people who don't do things over and over to hurt other people and then continually do things not to improve their own lives. Anna and Howard hurt alot of people especially the father of that innocent baby so no I don't have empathy for her. She brought it all on herself.

The funny thing is..the father of that innocent baby probably has more *empathy* for her. I sure bet he wishes she she was still alive. I dont understand the hatred for a dead woman you never knew and who never hurt you. You may not like how she lived..and the clown video...i think was way wrong..but i personally was brought up to treat the dead with respect..

Sorry but you may care, I don't. If it were someone who died of an illness or in a tragic accident, I have empathy. I have no empathy for people who do it to themselves. I don't even have empathy for a particular family member-told them don't call me anymore, as a matter of fact the whole family told the person. They do it to themself and want us to all feel sorry for them, I got better things to do with my time than babysit someone strung out. ===================================== I don't think you should have to put up with the actions of a family member who needs to be babysat, but the person needs to know it's his actions you won't put up with, not him personally, because then the relationship becomes a conditional relationship. We couldn't possibly love them if they do this, or they dislike us, or they have the wrong views, etc. If you don't act the way I think you should act, then I'll reject you. You are totally unacceptable to me if you lie, cheat, two-time me, hate me, treat my family wrong, don't agree with me on issues, etc. But if you do jump through my required hoops, then I'll love you (conditionally, obviously).

It got old and we are fed up. You can only take so much and when you get calls constantly of this person putting themselves in one crisis after another, getting fired from one job after another and thinking we have to feel sorry for him-I don't care what others do, but I refuse. I feel for anyone who is sick by no cause of their own or have suffered injuries because of someone else, but when someone keeps doing things to themselves instead of getting help, I have no empathy, sympathy period no sooner would I want anyone to give it to me. I have no use for people who lie everytime they open their mouth and won't waste my time on them. And this family member is nothing but a liar-went so far as to tell two different people he had three months to live-he was dying of cancer, one person he scammed $5000.00 out of. I hit the roof when I heard it and told him if I ever hear him say it again, I will give him something to die about. It really ticked me off especially when I know so many people who are fighting cancer. The only thing he has is a drug/alcohol problem.
