Those who live in glass houses------------? Both of these men are preachers? What happened to forgiveness?

Forgiveness is something you practise only on Sundays. On other days of the week, you are free to say or do whatever you want.

Are Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson real preachers? I was told that they use the reverend title to claim tax free status so that they have free access to donations made through the Rainbow Coalition. Does anyone know if there is a source that shows their net worth and if they are reporting any income to IRS each year? I wonder if they lead Imus to the Lord???

I cant stand them, anytime something happens its because the were african american Doesnt matter what the crime,behavior or anything else its always because their african american.They always play the victim. I dont see color.Im mixed and I think people should get real and quit bypassing the crime they committed. This week I had a african american throw a beer bottle at  a server i work with and because he got fired it was because he was african american and she was caucasian.I think everone should learn to have disipline and respect for  others.Including Don Imus. To me Jackson and Sharpton are just as low for always turning the color into an issue.They should be ashamed of themselves.

You should be ashamed of yourself for opening up your mouth, and talking while having no idea of what of what your talking about. If it's all an excuse why is what's going on in Louisiana with the Jena 6 happening. Oh snap, I forgot. They're making excuses.

Can someone please tell me why Jackson and Sharpton are known as "The Reverend" Jessie Jackson and "The Reverend" Al Sharpton when I have yet to see them quote verses from The Bible or conduct Church services?

The reason in my opinion is that Jessie Jackson & Sharpton don't quote bible verses is they don't know any. If they have the title  Reverend they probably got it from some magazine or they just took the title. If they were  a reverend they would God's leadership and call his name when they are public. If they can be called revernd just call me Reverend Raisebird.

They are both Baptist ministers.

They use the Church to Push their political agenda!

Without the title Reverend they figure they wouldnt be able to capture an audiance. If they are so dedicated to the church you think they would be republicans! after all Dems attacks republicans for being religous. The only thing I see Sharpton doing is that he is trying to keep the races divided! Im sure for political reasons.

Some of these ignorant injustice issues,hate and hate crimes going on all over the world is what's keeping the races divided,has nothing to do with Jackson,Shaprton or anyone else that doesn't mind speaking up or speaking out about any of the issues i just mentioned.

I think it has everything to do with the "flame fanners" as someone else here described them! Reverends should look for PEACE not FIGHTS Right?

I really don't have anything to do with the folks that decide to call Jackson and Sharpton names but I will say this,Al and Jesse speak up about alot of the ignorant injustice issues that adults,kids and families are going through to this day and they very well should.The old saying goes "stand up for nothing and fall for anything so what Al and Jesse do is stand up for issues they think are totally ridiculous and unfair.You don't stand up and speak out about any of these ridiculous issues that need to be adressed so why criticize the folks that try to help people?
