I'm also having a hard time believingthere are only 3 of us who feel this way..I think your website is discussion unfriendly     that is a whole other cause for concern     I used to think this was a good show but without in memoriam or at least a plausible reason for discontinuing it  I wont be tuning in again

I totally agree. In Memoriam, George Will, and Sunday Funnies is the only reason why I continued to watch this program. The whole format is too touchy feely and loses its objectivity towards other bigger issues in the world.

While I'm glad to see In Memoriam back as important as it is for our fallen men and women in uniform, it is truly appalling that in a week where there have been several prominent deaths (Elizabeth Taylor and Geraldine Ferraro amongst a few others) weren't included.   While I understand that Christiane Amanpour prefers to focus on more serious news, it is important to maintain a certain balance and include the funnies in order to contrast from the seriousness.

I am with you that In Memorium and the Sunday Funnies used to set This Week apart.  Having Jake fill in for Christiane this week was a breath of fresh air, but also a sad reminder of what we are missing most weeks.

Yes having Jake back last week was great.  About to turn on the program here and learn what  I will be preached to about  this week.  About time to give the ghadafi brothers another spot.  She needs to get their word out.  As for more serious news---I think a better way to phrase it is " a way to show case her views and her activities" ...regardless of what the viewers desire.  Reminds me of the lectures from my old 5th grade English teacher.
