While I find that Christiane is off to a good start displaying her well-known flair, professionalism, and knowledge of the subject as the host of This Week, I find her choice of panelists for the roundtable discussion to be ill-advised.
This week, the roundtable began with a discussion of the economy, for which the only so-called expert present was a representative of Business Weekly (who was obviously right of center in her political stance--forgot her name). Richard Haas and George Will were both representative of the conservative (non-economist) viewpoint (but proceeded to talk as if they were economists). Poor Donna Brazille was the loan representative for the progressive/liberal viewpoint, and was also the only one who had the sense to dispute the nonsense of the other three.
Please bring back more balance to the panel, and especially a REAL economist: PAUL KRUGMAN.
