Plainly, prosecution of the so called "War Crimes" by the Bush Administration needs to proceed in the US: the option is that world opinion will otherwise ensure it is taken up by THe War Crimes Commission in The Hague, and all political control will be lost.

There are instances of Kissenger being arrested and taken before a Court in Brussels to answer question when he was passing through Belgium; there are Interpol Warrants out for CIA offices wanted in Italy over the rendition of their Nationals. -

The whole issue or the Bush Administration behavior towards War Crimes was floated on Legal Opinions by US Bar members. It has clearly brought embarrassment to the US Judicial System - and issued for being disbarred. When do we see those like Prof. Yeo  up for investigation.

If Justice is to be knobbled in the US, the World Courts will put it back on track!
