I am appalled that he would be brought on charges when it has been discovered that the Bush Administration lied about the reason we invaded Iraq.  How in the world can the military conduct business as usual when the President lied about sending our troops there in the first place.  I have never advocated going AWOL or refusing to deploy but in this case Lt  Watada should stand his ground and fight this farce.  The Bush Administration has committed a serious crime of murder by sending 4000+ soldiers to Iraq in the name of a lie.   The Iraq people's lives have been altered by the illegal occupation and by the over 1,000,000 people who have died in the name of a lie.  So before Lt. Watada is to be tried, President Bush and others need to stand trial for a crime far more serious.  He should be impeached along with Cheney and others for the horrific outcome of the Iraq war especially since the question of how much money has been spent in the name of this  lie will be paid by my children's children for years to come.
